Floors is a small community set with the boundary walls of the Roxburghe Estate just north of the market town of Kelso. As with Makerstoun there is no recognised village centre.
At the heart of the estate is Floors Castle, home of the 11th Duke of Roxburghe. The estate comprises agricultural land and buildings, walled gardens, cafes, gift shops and a number of individual dwellings that are occupied by a wide variety of people including estate workers.
The community benefits from various walks and cycle routes in and around the estate.
